Megan Owen, MSN, APRN, CPNP-PC, IBCLC, CNE
Megan works as both a nurse educator and a nurse practitioner with a focus on preventative care and health promotion for women and children. She aims to help patients and families with breastfeeding success in practice while educating and empowering future nurses to provide high-quality and compassionate care. Her wide range of practice experience as a pediatric nurse practitioner includes newborn nursery, inpatient pediatrics, primary care and urgent care.
Megan graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas Eleanor Mann School of Nursing. She expects to complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Spring 2023 at the University of Arkansas. She is thrilled to offer this opportunity for continuing education through her research in breastfeeding promotion, a growing field that she is passionate about.
